My way of working with textiles developed by designing a set of seaside greetings cards using scraps of fabric. Excited by this new way of working and realising it had potential I drew on the inspiration of my home county of Cornwall, it’s seaside and landscape providing endless images for my appliqué cards, hand-pieced and machine stitched original art works.
