This print depicts the fishing village of Flushing, Cornwall. The fabrcis choosen for the tiny seaside cottages have been selected for their tiny patterns and muted colours. Details are added afterwards using hand and machine stitching. The fishing boats in the foreground are a pair of boats which actually fish out Falmouth. The tiny wave patterns are added to indicate the bobbing motion of the water. why not send Buoys at Flushing as a card, available here.
Details. Printed on great quality card stock with a matt finish each print is signed, dated and numbered. There is a limited edition of 25 prints of each textile illustration and are all double mounted with black and white mount card. When mounted each measures 205mm x 255mm (8x10 inches), the size of the image within the mount is 120mm x 175mm.
All prints come in a protective cellophane bag and are sent in a protective reinforced envelope.
