My sketchbooks and journals are the foundations of all my art and craft practice. Pocket sized or giant A2 monsters, all my thoughts, inpiration, doodles, collages and drawings fill the pages. I would be lost without them as they anchor all my creative ideas, help formulate projects, sketch out and design commissions, collect research, document and record work, workshops and exhibitions.

They are an areana in which to play, create, stick, stitch, staple, collect patterns, colours, textures, words, photos, images, sketches, thoughts and expressions. Or just a place to enjoy sketching and painting with watercolours.
