Original textile illustrations and appliqué art works by textile artist and illustrator Cat Rowe.
Cat's work starts out life as a drawing or photograph in one of her many sketchbooks, which are then transformed into working designs to be made up as textile illustrations. She loves the coast, and the county of Cornwall provides lots of inspiration for her to use in her art work.
Most of the original artworks are small in size at 150 x 100 mm (6x4 inches) but occasionally Cat will make larger works at 150 x 300 mm (6x12 inches). All of the original textile art works are framed in bespoke Ash box frames and behind glass in order to protect the delicate fabric and stitched work.
