Hot Air Balloon

This is a hand made cameo shaped brooch featuring a spotty hot air balloon is intended to inspire days of adventure and excitement.

It is worked on a pale blue dotty sky fabric. Using only cotton fabric each piece including clouds and stars are cut and pieced by hand and stitched using free machine technique. It has a stiff interfacing which makes it easy to wear.

The backing fabric is a soft pale blue striped fabric. 

It is finished on the back with a 1 inch bar brooch
