Sewing Machine Brooch - Patchwork Heart Quilt

Each sewing machine brooch I make is unique just like the makers who wear them.

This model is currently sewing hearts onto a patchwork quilt. The machine body is a pale check print fabric and on the base fabric are small white hearts on a soft grey. Adorned by a spotty heart this machine sews everything with love and care.

Each piece of fabrics is cut by hand, layered together and sewn by machine using the free machine technique. 

The backing fabric is a rather fab haberdashery print. 

It is finished on the back with a 1 inch bar brooch.

It is 2 ½ x 2 ½ inches (6x6cm) at it's widest part.
