Flushing Cottages

This trio of cottages from Flushing in Cornwall sit nicely above the high tide waterline. Cat created many of the textile illustrations in this series by using her own photographs taken from the water on board a local sailing boat.

Inspired by the idea of coastal living, she often wonders what it would be like to live in a house right next to the water. Demonstrating a new way of working with textiles, Cat's series of cards isolate just a single or small group of Cottages picking out the charming and picturesque details.

Each card is 15 x 15cm (6"x6") square and is printed on 100% recycled Cocoon card locally in Cornwall. Each card comes with a white envelope in a cellophane packet.
