Natural Linen Sewing Wrap

A natural linen coloured sewing wrap inspired by the larger vintage huswif wraps of the American Civil War. 

This soft coloured needle case folds out to display two pages of purple and lilac wool felt to keep your pins and needles safe whilst sewing. The lining is a vintage blue linen. It has a popper closure with a mother of pearl button as a decorative finish. 

Inside the third page there is a handy pocket to store needle packets in. This pocket has another smaller flower applique on it with a mini mother of pearl button. Each petal is individually cut, positioned and sewn into place. 

The flower motif on the front has individual fabric petals which have been stitched using the free machine embriodery technique. 

Each wrap is unique in it's combination of fabrics, buttons and colours of wool blanket.
