Join Cat online for a morning workshop making your own tiny house picture.

Starting with one of Cat’s patterns that she will provide exclusively for this online workshop, she will demonstrate how to modify and alter these so that each student creates something unique and personal to them.

We will discuss composition, colour, use of patterns and printed fabrics, and use the techniques of raw edge appliqué to construct our textile art works.

Next we’ll look at the use of free machine embroidery to add the drawn or stitched elements to our picture. You can of course undertake all the sewing by straight stitch.

This is an ideal project for using up your scraps of fabric that you have been hording! The patterns are no bigger than 5” x 7½” inches. 

This is a one morning online workshop via zoom. 

Number of places are limited to eight which makes a lovely small gathering. 

The workshop day runs from 9.30am - 1.30pm with an additional one hour session a week later on the eveing 4th October
